Questions before you start.

Is the calculator really free?

Yes. No account, no credit card, no email required to see your results. Sol Country is paid by installer and community solar partners when you choose to move forward - never by you.

How accurate are the savings estimates?

Estimates use the same federal datasets (NLR PVWatts, EIA, DSIRE, Census) that professional solar designers use. Final savings depend on your roof, your utility plan, and any installer quotes - we show ranges, not guarantees.

Do I need to own my home?

No. Renters get balcony solar kits, community solar subscriptions, and portable battery options. Homeowners additionally see rooftop solar quotes and whole-home battery + heat pump paths.

What happens to my address?

It's used only to query public solar, utility, and incentive data for your location. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with installers until you explicitly ask for quotes.
